Based on the urban rehabilitation planning for Jiefang Street and Sanjiangkou Area in Baise,this paper,while emphasizing the significance of urban conservation in the rapid urbanization and the importance of sustainable rehabilitation,explores a participatory and process-oriented strategy towards sustainable urban rehabilitation that will maintain the urban context and identity as well as revitalize the old city area continuously.
