5-(p-Hydroxybenzylidene)-2-thiohydantoin was prepared with high yield using p-hydroxybenzaldehyde and 2-thiohydantoin as raw materials.Then 5-(p-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-thiohydantoin reacted upon substituted sulfonic acid chloride to afford 3 novel 5-(p-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-thiohydantoin sulfonates,and their structures were confirmed by ~1HNMR,~(13)CNMR and elemental analysis.
