从2004年开始,在园林苗圃中对野生金佛山方竹[Chimonobambusa utilis(Keng)Keng f.]进行了引种驯化试验,4年的试验结果表明,引种母竹年龄以三年生最好,引种季节以晚秋最好;在模拟原产地生态条件下进行栽培管理的时间越久,其成活率越高,生长状况也越好.
