Phase change material is a novel cool storage material,5~10℃ phase change materials used in the air conditioning cool storage system are more and more valuable and have become focus at home and abroad. The selec-tion, relative merits and disadvantages of various kinds of phase change materials for cool storage in the air conditioning are described. The development of phase change material in the air conditioning is reviewed, focusing on the resear-ches on developing the novel phase change materials, improving the thermal conductivity and reducing the supercooling of phase change materials. Finally, the development trend of phase change material is proposed.
