研究苦丁茶(Ilex latifolia Thunb)水提物对小鼠的急性毒性作用和对大鼠长期毒性作用，结果表明小鼠对苦丁茶水提物的最大耐受量为168 g/kg，属于无毒性级，服用安全.在大鼠90 d长期毒性试验中，苦丁茶对大鼠的生长发育、造血功能、血液生化指标等均无不良影响.
연구고정다(Ilex latifolia Thunb)수제물대소서적급성독성작용화대대서장기독성작용，결과표명소서대고정다수제물적최대내수량위168 g/kg，속우무독성급，복용안전.재대서90 d장기독성시험중，고정다대대서적생장발육、조혈공능、혈액생화지표등균무불량영향.
Acute toxicity in mice and long-term toxicity in rats of Kudingcha water extractive were studied. The maximum tolerance dose was 168 g/kg in mice. And the long-term tests showed that Kudingcha had little effects on body weight, hematopoiesis and biochemical index in blood of rats. These results suggested that Kudingcha water extractive was without toxicity under these experimental conditions.
