研究苦丁茶(Ilex latifolia Thunb)水提物对小鼠的急性毒性作用和对大鼠长期毒性作用,结果表明小鼠对苦丁茶水提物的最大耐受量为168 g/kg,属于无毒性级,服用安全.在大鼠90 d长期毒性试验中,苦丁茶对大鼠的生长发育、造血功能、血液生化指标等均无不良影响.

Acute toxicity in mice and long-term toxicity in rats of Kudingcha water extractive were studied. The maximum tolerance dose was 168 g/kg in mice. And the long-term tests showed that Kudingcha had little effects on body weight, hematopoiesis and biochemical index in blood of rats. These results suggested that Kudingcha water extractive was without toxicity under these experimental conditions.
