In this chapter, the reason why the most of liquid crystalmaterials are anti-magnetic is discussed firstly. The physical mechanism of orientation vector of liquid crystals is discussed under a given magnetic field for nematics and choleslerics respectively. Based on these, the mathematics formula and the limited magnetic value of Freedericks transformation are derived. Finally, the length of magnetic coherence is discussed.
