The environmental isotopic tracer is a new technique developed in recent years. Environmental isotopes can be used as natural tracers for clarifying the pattern of distribution,migration and recharge of mine water and for providing direct basis for the prevention-control of hazards from mine water. It is shown through practice that this technique is characterized by its quickness, accurateness and easiness to be popularized and used.
