以双酚芴、十氟联苯和磺化二氟酮为单体,合成磺化含氟聚芴醚酮(Sulfonated-fluo-rinated nuorene-containing poly(arylene ether ketone)s,SFPEEK).SFPEEK可溶于极性有机溶剂,具有较高的黏度,易于浇铸形成柔韧透明的薄膜.用其制成的质子交换膜表现出良好的热稳定性和抗水解、抗氧化性能.在相同测试条件下,SFPEEK膜具有与杜邦公司Nation 117膜相当的质子电导率,同时,具有比Nafion 117更好的耐甲醇渗透性能.直接甲醇燃料电池(DMFC)单池测试表明,放电到0.2 V时,用SFPEEK膜制备的单池电流密度可达66 mA/cm~2,电池性能优于相同条件下用Nafion117膜组装的单池(电流密度60 mA/cm~2).

Sulfonated- fluorinated fluorene- containing poly(arylene ether ketone)s (SFPEEK) were synthe-sized from 9,9-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) fluorene, decafluorobiphenyl and sulfonated 4,4'-diflourobenzophenone (SDFBP).The resulting sulfonated poly(arylene ether ketone)s are soluble in polar organic solvents with high inherent viscosity (3.95 dL/g) and can form flexible and transparent membranes by casting from their solution.The membrane showed high thermal, hydrolysis stability and superior anti- oxidative stability.The proton con-ductivity of the membrane was determined to be equivalent with Nation 117 under the identical conditions.The methanol penetrability of the prepared membrane was 4.4 × 10~(-7) cm~2/s,while that of Nation 117 was 1.32× 10~(-6) cm~2/s under the identical conditions.The DMFC single cell was assembled using the as- prepared mem-branes for evaluation, and the current densities were 66 and 60 mA/cm~2 at the potential of 0.2 V for the SFPEEK membrane and Nation 117 membrane respectively.So the novel polymer was demonstrated its poten-tial application as a proton exchange membrane for direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC).
