针对当前我国CAD应用的日益普及和推广,而二次开发严重滞后的现状,结合笔者当前正在开发的活塞模具CAD智能系统,较详细地阐述了利用Visual C6.0的集成开发环境(IDE)和Pro/Toolkit开发模块进行Pro/Engineer二次开发的具体过程,对创建基于Pro/Engineer的实用CAD系统进行了积极有效探索。

Aiming at the present situation that the secondary development upon the available general CAD system severely lags behind the increasing popularization of the application of CAD system in our country, this paper, combining with the piston mold CAD Intelligent system developed by the author, detailed demonstrates the procedure of the secondary development upon Pro/Engineer using VC6.0 IDE and the development module-Pro/Toolkit, which is an aspiring and efficient exploration in creating a practical CAD system based on Pro/Engineer.
