First-line managers play a role in connecting leaders and staff in organization management,who are the executors of enterprise strategy.The advance and continuity of first-line managers＇ abilities have already become the key factor to realize the enterprise strategy,which is the guarantee of continues development of enterprise.Competency model gives a new standpoint to understand the roles of first-line managers.This article sets up a competency model and provides an effective evidence for recruitment,selection,training,performance appraisal and salary management aiming at the characteristic of first-line manager.
