Dangtu Road Bridge of Hefei is a RC fled-arch bridge with box-shaped arch fibs. And after nearly ten years of service and under a growth of traffic volume and overloaded vehicles in the past few years, there are damages and fractures in the deck and cracks in many parts of the bridge. The repair work is done when the structure of the bridge remains unchanged to make the most of the old main arch ring, suspender and longitudinal and transverse beam and to reinforce the failure parts that are disabled by stress.
