柳州市所属融水县的九万大山与元宝山地处云贵高原边缘地带，境内山峦叠嶂、连绵起伏；溪河密布、雨热同季、寒暑分明，属亚热带南岭湿润气候区，常年云雾缭绕，是茶叶较适宜生长的区域。境内分布生长着“野生石崖茶”等多种野生茶或类茶资源。针对柳州茶叶产业呈现“起步晚而起点高；技术低而资源广；市场小而力度大”的特点，有效合理地保护、利用与开发本地类茶资源，是创建柳州茶品牌的重要途径。
류주시소속융수현적구만대산여원보산지처운귀고원변연지대，경내산만첩장、련면기복；계하밀포、우열동계、한서분명，속아열대남령습윤기후구，상년운무료요，시다협교괄의생장적구역。경내분포생장착“야생석애다”등다충야생다혹류다자원。침대류주다협산업정현“기보만이기점고；기술저이자원엄；시장소이력도대”적특점，유효합리지보호、이용여개발본지류다자원，시창건류주다품패적중요도경。
The Jiuwan Mt. and Yuanbao Mt. of Rongshui County, Liuzhou is on the edge zone of Yungui plateau, with mountains and streams scattered everywhere, rain and heat in the same season, obvious warm and cold subtropical zone humid climate. It＇s cloudy in most of the year and quite suitable for tea production. Wild rocky tea and several other kinds of wild tea or herbal teas are growing there. In view of that Liuzhou tea industry is late in beginning but high expectation, lack technology with rich resource, small market but big efforts, to protect, utilize and develop local tea resources become important measures to create Liuzhou tea brands.
