This paper deals with the interaction between subinterfa cecracks in biamaterial orthotropic materials. The original multiple cracks pro blem is decomposed into the subproblems containing only one crack. Introducing t he complex potentials modeling dislocation singularity near the interface, a sys tem of singular integral equations are derived from the traction-free condition s on the crack faces. After determining the dislocation density functions, the s tress intensity factors at the crack tips are given.
