用一种新的乳液聚合方法——超浓乳液聚合制备了苯乙烯(St)-丙烯酸丁酯(BA)的复合聚合物。研究了引发剂的含量、单体体积分数及乳化剂的复配等因素对聚合速率及胶乳粒径的影响。结果表明,超浓乳液聚合较之本体聚合可得到较高的聚合速率和更大的分子量,且可更容易控制所制备的乳胶粒径。

A new emulsion polymerization method__concentrated emulsion polymerization was reviewed. The preparation of polymer composite of St-BA and the factor of effect on polymerization kinetics, molecular weight and latex particle size were investigated. The effects of the concentration of the initiators, the concentration of the surfactant, the monomer volume fraction have been investigated. Both higher conversion and higher molecular weight of the polymer composite were obtained as compared to the polymerization in bulk. It is possible conveniently to control the particle size of the obtained polymer latexes.
