The high oily wastewater from refinery is difficult to be treated. By design of wastewater treatment in some refinery in Shandong, it is indicat-cd that CASS and BAF technology can assure the effluent water reaches the first grade standard of the second kind pollutant of comprehensive effluent discharge (GB 8978 - 1996), which supplies a new approach to wastewater treatment in similar petroleum refinery.
