A new series of ( E)-3- ( 4-hydroxyphenyl)-l- (piperidin-l-yl) prop-2-en- 1-one derivatives were designed and synthesized.1 H and 13C NMR spectral assignments of these compounds were presented by one- and two- dimensional NMR experiments and conformations were analyzed by ROESY,variable-temperature NMR spectroscopy and molecular modeling.
