The research and development status quo of Ni/MH battery system for hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) in China and abroad was reviewed. The consistency of battery, the charging acceptance at super high power, the accurate estimation of state of charge(SOC)and the price for the relevant Ni/MH battery system employed in China, which should be further improved, were analyzed.
