2-(4'-Aminophenyl)-6-hydroxybenzothiazole in total yield of 50.4% with purity of 99.72% was synthesized from p-methoxyaniline and p-nitrobenzoyl chloride by a four-step reaction. The structure was characterized by ~1H NMR and HR-MS.
