对以Ce~(3+)/Ce~(4+)为正极,Zn/Zn~(2+)为负极组装氧化还原电池进行了初步研究.发现以Co-PTh-C复合电极作电极材料的循环次数达到12次,石墨毡电极循环次数仅2次.为此以不同电极材料,对Ce~(3+)/Ce~(4+)的电化学行为进行了研究.研究结果表明,在同一电极电位下,以Co-PTh-C复合电极作电极材料的电流密度要比石墨毡电极大,Ce~(3+)/Ce~(4+)还原反应为CE型准可逆反应.

A redox battery with Ce~(3+)/Ce~(4+) as positive electrolyte and Zn/Zn~(2+) as negative electrolyte was investigated.It was found that the cycle index of Co-PTh-C composite electrode at using an electrode's material were 12,and the cycle index of graphite felt were only 2.So,the kinetics for Ce~(4+)/Ce~(3+) couple was studied using different electrode's material.The result showed that the current density of Co-PTh-C composite electrode at using an electrode's material is bigger than graphite felt;and the redox reaction of the Ce~(3+)/Ce~(4+) couple is a CE type quasi-reversible reaction.
