In this paper, the feature of ZigBee is analyzed. The advantage of ARM-Linux embedded system with CC2420 by way of FFD is expounded. The work principle of the chip and hardware platform has been discussed in detail. A SPI driver design method has been present to fulfill the data exchanging between processor and CC2420, for the more, it is also the assurance of the application.
