Nanjing Third Yangzi River Bridge with its orthotropic plate streamlined fiat steel girder box is the first supergiant cable - stayed bridge in china whose main tower is of steel structure. This paper introduces the accuracy requirement of the steel box girder installation and the way to establish construction control network step by step. It also elaborates on the methods and techniques adopted in the construction and measurement of different sections of the girders. The result shows that the line type of steel box girder accords with the requirement of design.
