It is an extraordinary event that Hakka moved to Sichuan region from their homeland of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi. This article, take this event as a important step in survey of the long history of Hakka＇s outspreading process, points out that Hakka settlement in Sichuan region opened a new chapter for Hakka to take the ＂hinterland＂ for the stage in the spread of the Hakka culture, the Hakka people in Sichuan made great efforts to build a harmonious situation with the local people, and what they did may well be a model of peace movement.
