夏洛蒂·勃朗特（Charlotte Bronte，1816—1855）是19世纪英国杰出的女作家。其代表作《简·爱》描写了当时被压迫妇女的艰难生活处境以及主人公对生活的激情与大胆。作者通过对小说与其作者生平的探讨，认为小说一字一句都无不发自肺腑，是作者自己一生苦难与激情的自我写照。

Charlotte Bronte （ 1816 - 1855 ） was an outstanding British novelist in 19^th century. Her master work Jane Eyre describes the circumstances of hardship life of oppressed women at that time. It also describes the passion and boldness of the heroine for living. While through the research for the novel and it＇s writer＇s lifetime, the article＇s writer considers that every single word or phrase in the novel is invariably from the depth of the heroine＇s heart. The novel is the writer＇s self- portraiture of misery and passion all her life.
