泰州教育文化是古今泰州历史长河中形成和发展起来的区域性教育文化。泰州教育文化历史久远,素有尊师重教、勤学苦读、虚心好学、注重平民教育的优良传统,由此形成泰州教育文化的内涵和特质。这主要表现在:重教兴学的尚文精神;勤学苦读的学子精神;学高身正的大师精神;注重平民教育的民本精神。

Taizhou education and culture is a kind of regional education and culture developed from the long history. Taizhou education and culture has a long history, which has had the fine traditions of respecting teachers, studying hard, being modest and eager to learn, and attaching importance to mass education. These all make the intention and nature of Taizhou education and culture, which are mainly refleeted in the four spirits as follow: the Shang Wen spirit of respecting teaching, the students' spirit of studying hard, the masters' spirit of being knowledgeable and honest and the democratic spirit of attaching importance to mass education.
