Common problems%writing strategies%writing ability
Listening,speaking,reading and writing are four skills of learning language.Writing is regarded as the most difficult one for most of Chinese students.This paper aims to improve and cultivate the high school students' writing ability through sampling three compositions among the high school students who have different writing levels,analyzing the samples and finding out the errors and common problems,contrasting the differences of the two languages,and then discussing some factors which influence the students' writing ability.At last,providing some feasibility counterstrategtes,such as,increasing language input through reading to enrich students' knowledge; increasing grammar teaching,communicative approaches should be employed in writing process,teacher should provide effective feedback to high school students' writing.These counterstrategies are helpful to improve students' writing ability.
