The study on coating materials against tritium permeation under the fusion circumstance is one of the most important research work of fusion reactor materials.Erbium oxide coating,which shows excellent thermal stability and anti-permeability tritium,recently arouses a great deal of attention.The impact of large-scale application of the coating Er2O3 is its preparation and properties.In this paper,the preparation techniques of erbium oxide coating are reviewed,and its future development is also prospected.To provide reference for new methods,the preparation process of the current research are studied.
