Nano-TiO2 is a kind of functional material for photocatalysis application with high efficiency and energy saving.Nowadays,its preparation and application have attracted more and more attention.The developing features and shortages of nano-TiO2 are reviewed in this paper.In particular,the technology and characteristics for the preparation of nano-TiO2 by liquid phase process are specially introduced.It is emphasized that the photocatalysis technique of nano-TiO2 has wide applications in environmental protection field.Finally,the development direction of nano-TiO2 is pointed out.In addition,the advantages and shortages of TiO2 photocatalysis technology in the practical applications are also discussed.Meantime,the development prospect of photo catalysis technology is also forecasted.
