The structure and working principle of frequency and speedconverting system are introduced．With stepless speed regulation，this system can auotomatically regulate flow rate of pump and outlet pressure of pumping station to realize automation control of transportation process without throttling during operation．With this system，the transportation cost can be greatly reduced．The authors consider that this converting system is an important and indispensible equipment to oil pipeline．
