Baking process for recycling electrolyte from carbon dust is discussed in this paper.Influences of baking temperature,holding time and additives content in carbon dust on the process are focused on.Relationship between factors and reaction rate are analyzed.High reaction rate is obtamed at the case of fine-granule carbon dust baked in rotary kiln.High purity secondary electrolyte is received after baking and its impurity is lower than 0.5%.The final electrolyte can be directly used as raw material for reduction cells.
