地球的自转会对地球表面运动的物体产生水平向偏转力,即科里奥利效应.尽管科里奥利力很小,但它对运动的物体确实在发生作用,有时还会非常明显.为此,探讨了给水排水工程中与科里奥利效应有关的设计问题,如水流产生的涡流方向、江河取水构筑物位置的选择、水力混合池和反应池的水流方向、水泵吸水管路设计等,可为相关工程设计提供借鉴.

The horizontal deflection force,called Coriolis effect,can be generated on the moving objects by the earth rotation.Coriolis force makes sense for sure even though it is quite weak.Therefore,design problems relating to the Coriolis effect in water and wastewater engineering ale discussed as follows,such as swirling direction of flowing water,selection of water intake location on river,water flow direction of hydraulic mixing or reaction tanks,design of pump suction pipe and so on,which can provide reference for the relevant engineering design.
