This paper introduced an ordinary way of optical character recognition, classified the way of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) based on the character of span when writing Cyrillic character on edge, and combined the way of option character matching to design a classifier of two classes. The article applied these techniques to realize a User Interface (UI) for translating Cyrillic character to Chinese character based on OCR. The result indicates that the system can be used in practice.
