The present using situation, the operating mode and the damage reasons of small sleeve material of blast-furnace tuyere were introduced. Through the analysis of the erosive mechanism of copper tuyere sleeve and the case of using Be-Bronze, the conclusion is that using the Be-bronze sleeve to substitute the Cu tuyere sleeve is feasible. If whole China uses Be-bronze tuyere sleeve, which may save the copper expense 3 billion Yuan every year for the domestic iron and steel enterprises, and the production of the iron and steel enterprises is 2.5 million tons now more than ever.
