为培育超亲的高淀粉或高秽素嚎的甘薯新品种甘薯品种广紫薯1号5个不同世代组培材料,于2006年9月9~24日搭载中国实践八号航天育种卫星,进行空间诱变处理.2008年田间种植试验结果表明,经空间诱变处理,大中薯率显著提高,薯块有显著的增产趋势,特别是航1与航4两个株系比对照增产极显著或显著,而其它主要经济性状变化不显著.

For breeding and selection of new super-parent varieties with high-starch or high anthocyanin contents through space mutation, 5 tissue cultured accessions derived from different generations of the purple-fleshed sweetpotato variety Guangzishu No. 1 were carried into space for mutation by'Shijian 8'Space Breeding Satellite in September 9-24, 2006. In 2008, these space mutants were placed in field trials, and the results showed that space mutation increased significantly the number of large- and medium-sized root tubes and hence the yield of the mutants, especially accessions 1 and 4 which yielded highly significantly or significantly higher than the control and gave no obviously different change in the other major economic characteristics.
