RA73 is an American semidwarf mutant derived from the Bonnet 73 of rice.In order to make its allelism clear,a set of crossing test between RA73 and 6 varieties carrying different semidwarf genes were conducted.The result showed that RA73 is not only non-allelic to semidwarf gene sd-1,but also non-allelic to sd-s(t),dg(t),sd-s(g),d-1 genes and unknown semidwarf genes carried by Xiaoli-tetep and KL908.So it is recognized to be a new semidwarf resource.
