This paper builds the model for the surface-ship formation using the hull-mounted sonars to search the submarine,and analyzes the affections caused by the interval distance between the ships and the speed ratio of the submarine and the ship formation.In the end,this paper puts forward the conclusions of the basic measures for the ship formation searching the submarine with the hull-mounted sonars.
