利用在广州站(23°8'N,113°17'E)建立的GPS电离层闪烁监测系统,开展了对电离层闪烁的连续观测.利用这些观测数据,对广州地区2007年4月至9月及2008年1月至9月电离层闪烁变化特性进行了初步统计分析研究.分析结果表明,广州地区闪烁主要发生在太阳活动较低的磁静日期间.季节变化表现为弱闪烁(0.2<S_4≤0.4)的发生率在夏季有明显增加,2008年夏季弱闪烁高发的月份比2007年夏季提前一个月,夏季闪烁在全天发生率相差不大,无明显的地方时变化特征;闪烁的地方时变化特征表现为在非夏季时期不仅在夜晚有很高的发生率,在白天也会出现一个闪烁发生率峰值,但后者还需进一步证认和分析.

Ionospheric scintillation is a kind of rapid variation resulting from ionospheric irregularities. The scintillations may cause problems such as signal power fading, phase cycle slips, receiver loss of lock, etc., and degrade the quality of satellite navigation systems. Being concerned about these effects, ionospheric scintillations observed at Guangzhou station (23°8'N, 113°17'E) during April to September, 2007 and January to September, 2008 are analyzed in this paper. The results show that there are more ionospheric scintillations over Guangzhou region during geomagnetic quiet and low solar activity periods. The scintillations with S_4 > 0.2 have high and stable occurrence rate in summer, and show no obvious daily variation. Most of them are weak scintillations, I.e.,0.2 < S_4 ≤ 0.4, and the maximum occurrence rate appears one month earlier in summer of 2008 than that in 2007. In seasons other than summer, there is one occurrence rate maximum during the nighttime as reported in literature, while another one during the daytime is also found. However thelatter needs further investigation.
