Although the design of control station on site for marine dieselengine′s remote control system vary according to different kinds of engine,operating systems,selecting of drive schemes and other factors,it must satisfy the requirement of“Rules and Regulations for the construction and classification of ocean-going steel ships”.Taking the type of 12VPA6-280(S.E.M.T)diesel engine as an example,this paper analyses the design of operating console by the engine and indicates that design of control station on site does not violate the principle of“Rules and Regulations”.
