The rack is the key component of drilling pump; its machining accuracy affects drilling pump assembly and transmission accuracy of power end and hydraulic end, and so affects the life of pump. Usually boring lathe and processing technique and equipment are used. The method of CNC boring machine processing drilling pump rack, by rotating precision of CNC boring ma-chine, the sub-head power is used to process for improving the rack shape and location of process-ing accuracy, so efficiency is improved. The design and installation of sub-head power and analy-sis of positioning accuracy were induced. A brief introduction of CNC Boring Machine Tool-assis-ted was described, such as tapping device, and the NC program and process of important proces-ses as well. The characteristics of CNC boring machine processing the rack were analyzed. Through the design process equipment, process optimization, the machining accuracy, reducing manufacturing costs were ensured.
