Through systematically introducing the application and promotion of micro-surfacing technique in Shanxi highway maintenance,from practical angle,the paper illustrates the advantages,technological properties,application scope,and development direction of micro-surfacing technique,and then points out that micro-surfacing technique is a scientific method to implementing highway maintenance guideline of ＂prevention dominated,maintenance supplemented＂,which has good economic and social benefits.
