This experiment used shale and water-containing sludge as main raw materials combining with cow dung to manufacture a new kind of ceramisite. In this paper we mainly studied the influence of addictive of cow dung, preheating system and roasting system on the ceramisite properties such as multiple expansion, apparent density, bulk density, strength and water absorption.
