在自然界和社会中,不定等现象普遍存在.为了解决不定等问题,本文提出不定等式.不定等式是表达变量不定等关系的式子.它包括小于等于大于（埯）、小于等于（≤）和大于等于（≥）三种字母或数字的关系.阐明不定等式的性质、运算和意义,开拓代数研究的新领域,对于发展我国数学具有重要的意义.

In the natural world and society,indeterminate equal phenomenons are existing universally.We put forward indeterminate equality to settle the indeterminate equal questions.The indeterminate equality shows a expression of indeterminate equal relation of variables.It consists of three kinds of relations between the letters or numbers as follows：＂less than or equal to or greater than（≤）＂,＂less than or equal to（≤）＂and＂greater than or equal to（≥）＂.And the properties,calculation and significance of indeterminate equality were expounded in this paper,to open up a new domain of algebra research.It has great significance for development of methematics in our country.
