It is found that the condition "the events as a division of the sample space" for the formula Of total probability can be weakened. Two generalizations are given under the cases of the finite events and countable infinite events. Furthermore, two generalizations of the Byaes formula are also obtained. An example of sensitivity investigation is given to show the application of the formula of total probability.
