公共英语在高职院校是一门必修课程。由于高职这一群体生源的特殊性，公共英语的教学质量一直受到普遍的关注。文章分析了高中、高职两个层面的教学对象、教学目标、教学方法等诸多因素，提出了高职英语过渡教学的“七个衔接”。旨在提供做好高职英语衔接教学的理论依据和实践参考，以期更好地引导学生适应高职英语学习，提高英语应用能力。
