中医理论认为,“肺乃娇脏”.千百年来,这一理论一直指导着中医的临床实践,为“肺”(即呼吸系统)疾病的诊断、预防和治疗中起到了重要作用.亦有学者及中医工作者并不赞同这一观点.本文通过系统地收集呼吸系统常见疾病、多发病的流行病学资料,从“肺”病相对于其他脏腑疾病的高发病率,以及预后情况更差等方面加以整理,籍以证明该理论的正确性.随着中西医结合学科的发展,我们将用基础医学进一步深刻理解“肺乃娇脏”这一理论.

The lung as a delicate zang viscus is a TCM theory. It has been directing the clinical practise for thouthands of years in China.This theory helps the diagnosis,prevention and treatment in "lung" disease,which should be regarded as the sickness of respiratory system in the counterpart of western medicine.In this manuscrpt,we collect the epidemiological datas on commonly seen respiratory diseases.From their high incidence and poor prognosis compared with other Zangfu,we conclude that lung as a delicate zang viscus is an accurate theory.With the development of combinational TCM and Western medicine,we will research the deeper meanings of the theory by preclinical medicine.
