针对低密度奇偶校验码(LDPC)译码器性能受输入软信息电平抖动影响较大的问题,本文提出一种基于自动增益控制(AGC)方法的输入匹配电路,能够跟踪输入的信号电平变化动态调整信号幅度,使解调器与LDPC译码器始终工作在最佳匹配状态.此方法及AGC结构匹配电路模块已用于实现高速超宽带(MBOK-UWB)无线通信系统接收机的LDPC译码器,系统仿真和实际测试结果均表明,上述方法有效提高了系统的误比特性能.
針對低密度奇偶校驗碼(LDPC)譯碼器性能受輸入軟信息電平抖動影響較大的問題,本文提齣一種基于自動增益控製(AGC)方法的輸入匹配電路,能夠跟蹤輸入的信號電平變化動態調整信號幅度,使解調器與LDPC譯碼器始終工作在最佳匹配狀態.此方法及AGC結構匹配電路模塊已用于實現高速超寬帶(MBOK-UWB)無線通信繫統接收機的LDPC譯碼器,繫統倣真和實際測試結果均錶明,上述方法有效提高瞭繫統的誤比特性能.

The performance of Soft-decision LDPC decoders will be significantly degraded due to variation of signal level of input data. To avoid the degradation, a digital AGC as the input-matching circuit for the LDPC decoder is proposed in this paper to track the variation of the signal level and amplify the input data correspondingly. A low-complexity architecture, suitable for high-speed applications in particular, is also presented and analyzed. The FPGA implementation of the AGC in a high-speed UWB communication system shows significant performance improvement with very low hardware cost, thus the proposed AGC input-matching circuit is considered to be useful for applications with LDPC or other soft-decision CODEC
