The aim of this paper is to investigate a three-dimensional Lotka-Voltrra equation and Poincare standard form. Our purpose is to obtain conditions of bifurcation phenomenon in periodic solution of the equation and a series that play a widely application role in calculating some important parameters. Especially, the Poincare standard form is further discussed and a computational method of some important parameters is constructed.
