分析了全球剖分格网与影像金字塔的优点与不足,结合两者的优势提出了剖分影像金字塔模型及建塔策略,利用全球剖分格网面片编码的唯一性和Hilbert曲线空间连续性对影像块进行索引与组织.针对基于影像块组织的特点,提出了剖分影像金字塔局部更新的方案.实验结果表明,剖分影像金字塔不仅具有传统影像金字塔在快速浏览上的优势,并且由于其编码和索引的优势,使得在局部影像提取和更新方面效率更高,有一定的使用价值.

In order to solve the problem that how the massive remote sensing image can be displayed and updated efficiently,after analyzing the theories of global subdivision grid (GSG) and image pyramid,a structure named subdivision image pyramid (SIP) is put forward in this paper,which combines the advantages of GSG and image pyramid,to organize remote sensing image.It is described that how to generate SIP from the original remote sensing image and how to organize and index the image blocks in SIP by using Hilbert space-filling curves and the unique GSG units' codes.Because SIP is composed of a lot of image blocks,it can be updated partly with the changed image blocks when only some parts of remote sensing image are changed.At last it is verified by an emulation system,whose result shows that SIP not only keeps the advantage of traditional image pyramid,such as browsing images quickly,but also has more efficiency on extracting and updating images partly because of its advantage of coding and indexing,which is of applied value in updating data.
