FC-AE-1553 protocol is implemented based on MIL-STD-1553B, which embodys excellent net-work performance of fiber channel and conventional features (high reliability and real time) of MIL-STD-1553B. The differences between FC-AE-1553 and MIL-STD-1553B are analyzed in detail. Extend-ed features, which include distributed control, large file transfer, RDMA transfer and bridge to legacy MIL-STD-1553B, are developed.
