南水北调工程旨在解决我国北方日益严重的水资源短缺问题,统筹解决受水区生态环境恶化问题.水质污染防控关系到调水工程是否能达到预期目标.为了连续、及时获得输水沿线水质信息,监督水质安全,建立一个全面、有效的水质监测系统势在必行.在简要总结现有水质监测技术后,初步讨论了与截污导流工程相结合的山东段工程沿线水质监测系统建设思路.

South-to-North Water Transfer Project is set up to solve the deficit of water resources in North China in one side, and also to harmoni-ously ameliorate the ecological environment of water-receiving district. Whether it would achieve to the anticipated aims of the water transfer pro-ject was depend on the prevention and control to the water pollution. In order to rapidly gain the information of water qualities along the line and monitor their safety, it is imperative to establish a general and efficient system for water quality monitoring. Based on brief summary of water quality monitoring technology in existence, we preliminarily discussed how to build the system for water quality monitoring according to Pollution Prevention and Water Diversion Engineering in Shandong Section.
