通过使用两种硅烷偶联剂(A-151、A-171)对煅烧高岭土进行表面改性,研究改性剂用量、改性温度、改性时间、助剂用量对改性效果即活化指数的影响.通过筛选得出两种改性试验的最优结果均为:偶联剂添加量2%,改性温度80℃,改性时间30min、不添加助剂乙醇,活化指数分别可以达到99.58%和99.43%.并将改性后的高岭土作为填料填充到EPDM中,效果要优于高岭土,显著增强了EPDM复合材料的力学性能.

The surface modifications of calcined kaolin by using two kinds of silane coupling agent(A-151,A-171) have been carried out.The influences of the modifier dosage,the modification temperature,the modification time and the amount of additive on the modification effect (the activation of Index) have been investigated.The optimal results of the two modification experiments obtained by screening are as following:the amount of coupling agent is 2%,the modified temperature is 80℃,the modification time is 30min and without any additives ethanol,the activation indexes can correspond to 99.58% and 99.43% respectly.And the mechanical property of EPDM composites has been significantly enhanced by adding the modified kaolin into EPDM as filler.
